4th annual Liberate Music & Yoga Festival

Thursday - Sunday, August 18th-21st, 2011

845 Poor Farm Road, Sheldon, VT

TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE GATE!!

We are committed to encouraging a relaxed atmosphere, but there are certain guidelines that must be followed in order to ensure a safe festival for everyone.

Liberate is an ALL ages event - children under 12 are free!

 

Onsite Parking is FIRST COME FIRST SERVE! Arrive early to secure your onsite spot. There are spaces available on-site for $20 per vehicle. ALL other vehicles will park off site and be shuttled into the venue.


Liberate gates open at noon on Thursday, August, 18, 2011 for Weekend Pass Holders.

Liberate gates open at 9 am on Friday for 2-Day Pass Holders.

Liberate gates open at 9 am on Saturday for 1-Day Pass Holders.
 
Festival attendees must vacate festival property by 2 pm on Sunday. 


We provide FREE rough camping along with your ticket. No visitors will be allowed in without the purchase of a ticket. The camping area is set up for tents. Campers and RVS will only be admitted if space permits- please contact us at ben@empvt.com for special accommodations! Camping and parking in the lot are first come, first serve. We suggest that you arrive early to choose a prime camping spot. Please come fully prepared if you are camping, as this is an outdoor event- held in rain or shine. At a minimum, we suggest you bring the following: Camping gear, clean dry clothes, a flashlight, rain gear, bug repellant, food, drinking water, cooler/ice and anything you need for the show... EXCEPT NO GLASS!! 

Remember, Liberate is a leave no trace event- please clean up your campsites fully before you leave and carry out everything you brought or bought.

Festival goers must abide by all local, state, and federal laws.   Your cooperation is essential to our future. We cannot stress this enough. Please enjoy yourself as you would at a festival, but your discretion is necessary in order to maintain a safe and friendly environment for people of any age or background for years to come. Thank you so much!

We ask that you abide by the following rules when attending Liberate this summer:

  • Absolutely NO PETS allowed on the festival grounds or parking lots (licensed ADA assistants excepted). This will be strictly enforced.
  • NO GLASS.
  • No weapons.
  • No drugs.
  • No fireworks.
  • No fires.  Camp stoves permitted.
  • Attendees are responsible for personal possessions.
  • No unauthorized vending - if you're not a registered vendor you cannot sell or distribute anything on the festival grounds. Violators are subject to confiscation and/or ejection.
  • Audience and radio taping only (no soundboard patches)
  • No video recording of any performances without prior written consent from the artist.
  • No motorized vehicles (golf carts, ATVs)
  • Attendees are responsible for any damage caused to equipment or the property.
  • You must have a child with you to camp in Family Camping.
Don't forget:
  • A water bottle- we have no containers but plenty of  fresh drinking water for you to refill with.
  • Yoga mat and clothing
  • Drums, guitars, and other instruments
  • There is no internet or ATM on site; please plan accordingly.
  • For a nearby hotel, we recommend La Quinta, St. Albans.  Ask for a special Libe-RATE while rooms last.
  • Prepare for sun and rain with camping equipment and clothes 
  • Sneakers for wooded trails
  • Camping supplies (tent, tarp, sleeping bags, towels, rain gear, flashlights, bug spray, backup pair of shoes).
  • Trash bags - Carry out what you carry in with you.
  • First aid supplies.
  • There is ice available for purchase while supplies last.
  • While there is NO car camping the campsite is just a minute walk away and you are free to return to your vehicle whenever you please!
